In reply to the discussion: Ashton Kutcher vs. Wal-Mart: Epic Twitter clash rages over poverty wages [View all]HughBeaumont
(24,461 posts)37. Easy to counter the last WalMart response . . .
Maybe he should rebut that for every 160,000 promoted, it can be countered that, thanks to cheap-wage, cheap-crap-peddling Big Boxes like them, millions more independent business workers, factory workers, secondary businesspeople, farmers, civil servants and others became disposed of, directly or indirectly, as a result of the brand of hyper-corporatist retail grinding WalMart and others choose to conduct.
That's not even getting into the damage they've caused to the median real-dollar wage, the environment or the institution of free enterprise in America.
They should really not think of themselves as heroic. It's kind of nauseating, to be honest.

You know, there's plenty to not like about GVS without implying she looks like a man.

I've always had a very soft spot for Ashton. I even think he's good in some of his films..

He's got 15M followers. I hope some will savage WalMart on what a welfare queen Walmart is:
