(23,872 posts)The missing lens impacts the authenticity of the X-rays in no way, shape, or form. And considered the lengths gone to in authenticating all other parts of the photographs, I'm confident in the finding of the HSCA that the photographs are authentic, too.

And the representation McAdams made of McClelland in the quote I linked to is that he agrees the photos and X-rays are authentic. I reproduced the quote - anyone can go back and read it.
McClelland is not saying that's not Kennedy. He's not saying the photos or the X-rays have been altered. And that is what McAdams represents him as saying. So, no, McAdams isn't misleading here, either. And the X-rays do not bear out McClelland's report of a massive hole in the back of the head. Neither do the photos.
Furthermore, 17 pathologists including Cyril Wecht (ever heard of him?) with access to all the photos and X-rays said the entrance wound was in the back of the head and the exit wound in the front. McClelland is sincere, and saying what he is saying in good faith, but that doesn't mean he isn't mistaken. He is.
