(3,251 posts)Later on she started swallowing the conspiracy swill but I never condemn her for that. She has always maintained she told the truth to the Warren Commission, and there has never been any proof otherwise. I feel for her because we know that the night before the murders, Oswald, though he had planned to assassinate JFK, was trying to make one last chance at a reconciliation with Marina. He wanted her to move with him to Dallas, and she rebuffed him. Can you even fathom the burden she has had to carry these fifty years? I am sure she literally feared for her and their children's safety, as he was violent to her, if she had gone, think of the course history would have taken had she accepted. It truly boggles the mind.
To her credit she has refused all book deals despite offers in the millions of dollars. It's just too much to bear.
