In reply to the discussion: Why has no one called out Rachel Maddow for her misandry? [View all]csziggy
(34,189 posts)3. Which one are you talking about? The one from last October?
The one which was based on specific questions asked of Mitt Romney that demonstrated he did/does not understand how contraceptives work? The one where Rachel Maddow used satire and facts to illustrate how ignorant many men are about the subject of contraceptives?
I thought it was funny at the time and now re-watching it, and thinking about the recent public discussions of contraceptives and women's health care, I realize how abysmally ignorant most men are on the entire subject.
Perhaps you should watch the clip all the way through and think about that.

OP
No, it was less educational and more patronizing than you wish to admit too. She did it to...

It was more educational than what most men bother to learn about women's reproduction

No, I'm thinking that all of the threads about liberal misogynists are out of control

If Rachel spent 10 minutes 'humiliating, shaming, and patronizing' (AKA: mocking)

How is Rachel different than Bill Maher or other liberals who've crawled up your butts?

My shift is about up, and by the time I rise this thread will have been vaporized by Team Maddow

Because most men aren't so overly sensitive that they see 'evil intentions' behind every joke.
