One question about the motorcade [View all]

I have this idea that the motorcade was diverted at almost the last moment. That it had been planned to go down one avenue, but then was diverted to go down the avenue past the book depository.

Anyone remember that detail that way? Or was it always planned to go past the book depository?

If it was not planned, then how would Oswald know to be ready?
