Some advantages are: The hospital restricts the number of patients they have, which, in turn, normally means NO WAIT TIME. I sign in, and usually hardly have time to find a seat when my Dr's nurse comes for me.
Another one, my medical record is on-line for me to see. Eg, went for regular check up yesterday, and had blood work (taken around 11AM), and I had my results back on-line at 7:15 this morning. Any hospital visit for what ever kind of doctor has my full record available.
