but pointing it out relentlessly is fucking absurd.

It's like, I finally learned not to ask my husband if "my ass looks fat in these jeans". I finally realized that my ass looks fine to him and pointing out that it's fat only puts the spotlight on something he had no complaints about to begin with. Now, he might start noticing that my ass does kind of look fat in these jeans.


and some of these people harping on the Maher thing, so remind me of the kid in grade school that the teacher had watch the class for her while she stepped out. You know the one. "teacher, teacher!" while straining on the edge of her seat, hand pumping the air, for teacher to call on her to tattle. "teacher, teacher, Billy said a bad word too!"
