Sharpton condemns knockout attacks

97. i can't believe someone in here is trying to portray the thugs as victims.....

...and the victims as thugs if they want to be able to defend themselves with a firearm.

this "knockout" stuff is not a game. this is dangerous assault, plain and simple. you could even make the case that it's attempted murder since there have already been deaths reported from this.....any person that continues doing it knowing that they might kill their victim should be charged with attempted murder. these are not little kids, they are teens and adults doing this...and they are attacking women and the elderly as well.

if you consider it a game to sneak up behind someone to batter their head or face with the intent knocking them out (in other words, with the intent of causing brain trauma) you really have given up your right to live in a free society with law abiding, civil human beings. when you get bored of that game, what will you do next for fun? if caught you should spend your life behind bars because you are a danger to innocent people.

I don't care what color you are, if some group of teens or young adults of any color approaches you and one or more of them attempt to assault you for no reason, you have every right to use deadly force to protect yourself. if you're packing and you're able to get your weapon and defend yourself, you should do it. I don't own a handgun and I have no plans presently to own one, but if you have a cc permit you have every right to ventilate the chest cavity of anyone trying to assault you in the street.
