In reply to the discussion: The iPad Is Unbeatable - Why Apple’s tablet competitors don’t stand a chance—and maybe never will. [View all]The Philosopher
(895 posts)The arguments (hardly) this article makes ends up being:
*There's no way to match Apple's fortune. Only Apple knows how to sell a product for a profit. There's no possible reason to believe otherwise.
*Apple's hardware is obviously better and if Apple doesn't offer it, it's obvious consumers don't want it.
*Only Apple has the technology of Apps. ONLY APPLE. So who would choose anything but an iPad? You're only getting it for the Apps anyway.
*Since tablets aren't a fad like disco, everyone wants an iPad.
*Since a private Army didn't kill Steve Jobs in his secret lair, them Apple's competitors realize Apple's might but are lost in the idea that tablets ARE a fad. Otherwise--Steve Jobs would've died with a gun in his hand.
I'm glad I was born after the death of journalism, or else reading this article would make me terribly depressed.
Oh, wait...
