17. hahahaha, look upon my works ye mighty and despair

Look, once upon a time Microsoft was invincible, now, thanks to tablets, less people are even bothering with Windows or PCs, period.

Once upon a time, Apple was a joke, now they are everywhere.

NOTHING is set in stone, especially with the fickle tastes of consumers. For all we know, some company is working on something that will make Microsoft and Apple the also rans. As a matter of fact, with a few tweaks, Android may mature into JUST THAT. Especially as it does not force people to learn about windows just to email.

And if not, I am sure somehwere in Texas, California, or even China or India, someone is working on the next shiny path. Tech may allows people to make money, but of all the Empires of goods, it changes the most. To twist about a quote from Charles De Gaulle "The junkyards are full of indespenisble machines."
