Like CA, neither Oregon nor Washington sent any new Republicans to Congress. Oregon, exactly like CA, elected again a Democrat who had already been Governor to that office a second time after years out of office. Unlike CA, the outgoing was also a Democrat, not Arnold.
Oregon had the highest midterm turn out since the 80's. How did we do it?
CA was not Sparta. The West Coast was Sparta. Many will say 'across the county Republicans won' and yet that is simply false, their tide did not cross this nation, it did not make it to the Pacific Coast at all.
CA of course faced higher spending with Meg and Carly yet Brown hardly spent at all, which shows that money does not make for a win at all. We also had more money spent than in prior years, large funding of crazy Republicans. We also defeated them all.
