The market makes this position impossible.
Of course, I agree in general with your premise, but the public capitalist aspect changes the game.
Her private life, yeah, who cares. But when she performs, this is, as a matter of fact, a public act. So then if she makes her money on public acts and the public gets to either consume or not consume what she sells, well, it's like me asking if Die Hard 4 sucks ass, or that Bruce Willis' acting sucks ass. Etc.
This ain't rocket science. She's made herself a public entity to be consumed, and I just want to know how DU considers her public status. You response really does very little to move that discussion forward.
