(37,370 posts)76. I am not talking about changing all the tax code.
I am saying that all income should be taxed at the same progressive rate as earned income (wages, salary). People on SS pay at a higher rate than rich people who get most of their income from investments, that is what i am addressing.

I'm all for a guaranteed living wage but in itself that would not lead to fair taxation.
