18. For every innocent convicted of committed crimes, a guilty person is walking free.

It isn't only, or even mostly, a matter of proving that a crime occurred, it's also a matter of proving that the defendant is the guilty party.

The court which convicted the wrong guy is to blame for the real criminal's next victim.
