In pure comedic sit com style, complete with laugh track, Fez calls his wife-of-convenience a whore and a bitch. That was just in one scene. Women were called "bitch" at least two other times in the episode.
Point is, we on DU appear to be selective in our outrage. Those remarks, even in (or especially in) the context used in this prime time sit com would have surely gotten a post hidden by one of our juries. But a subscription-based, adult-oriented political program on HBO is deserving of condemnation? I choose to watch Real Time because it is edgy and, yes, sometimes a bid rude. But what's the excuse for a free network program aired repeatedly during prime time?
