54. I would like to correct the record.

'Twas not "a group of posters", it was *I*. I have preserved the originating post in my journal: http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=journals&uid=106679&page=3 (1st entry).

Alas, since the Meta group no longer exists, the full context of the creation of the "Taterguy Exception" can no longer be accessed.

It's quite true that the "exception" was never endorsed by the Admins, but it did become a widespread DU meme, for which I shall always be fucking proud.
