But she is supposed to be a nice person, supports gay marriage which is an unpopular position in country music land and does give a lot to charity relative to what most country singers do. Twitter is vicious and so are a lot of message boards - she should have shut her twitter down rather than being affected by it. She does need thicker skin, but this is one of the very few times she has been criticized, so it must come as a shock to her. Trust me, I follow people who get criticized for doing nice things because someone did not like their hair. People who are criticized just so that someone can make a rude joke, not really to do with any truth.
