That is exactly correct.

And the media is complicit in crafting the narrative that President Obama and big spending liberals created the debt.

This narrative continues today with every single talking head on TV blaming Social Security for the debt. Yet it was two unpaid for counterproductive wars of choice, huge tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires and Dubya's medicare expansion.

The spending is Republican spending and they should be forced to own it.
