That's why my theory pretty much rings true to everybody I explain it to. I need to come up with a name for it before somebody hijacks it. Anyway, If you are going to live in the lower 49 it's your best bet to pick a border state. So, either borders with Canada, Mexico or either ocean. Pick any one of those states and you're in pretty good shape. Stay away from the interior LOL...
