She's always been wonderfully independent and does her own thing. I think some in this thread are showing that they have affiliations because they seek out "terrorist groups" to discredit anything associated with such groups. PETA is one of the best known for for "environmental terrorism". Except that isn't what PETA does - they are a PR campaign to make environmental concerns seem like nuttery.

Environmental terrorists, of course, are really people that have farms that aren't corporate owned, grow organic, and protest when Monsanto sues their neighbor when Monsanto seeds get into their crops, then claims it was intentional.

PETA is a fabricated group of nuts wanting to foment nuts so that legitimate environmental concerns are dismissed as PETA type bullshit.
