Anyone who has served in the military see if you can get a state ID - good savings [View all]

I served for 1,214 days from 90-93 but even short time service appears to pay off.
I got a Virginia Military Service ID and just check out the www.militaryandveteransdiscount.com website - registration is required.

10% off at
Best Buy
Apple - some stores
$50 at Costco - covers most of the yearly membership

Fast food - some are "ASK" but they include pretty much all the major chains

Verizon - Government Employee pricing (THAT I am calling about)
Sprint also has a discount

10% off at Zales - jewelry (not buying jewelry)

Car rentals vary

Walgreens - 15-20% on Memorial Day for selected purchases. 15% discounts for purchases on Tuesdays.
