the like, means that he saw mistreatment every fucking day. He knew black folk had a completely different set of rules about where they could eat or sleep and that if they looked at a white woman the wrong way they end could end up swinging on a rope. And he couldn't have missed the fact that the people doing the lynching rarely were meted out justice for their crimes, if done against a black man. Or that little black children weren't allowed to go to the same schools as his nasty white ass.

I don't know who the fuck that moron thinks he is kidding when he trots out examples of a black person singing and smiling as proof that they were happy. A&E needs to be ashamed that they ever elevated this racist homophobic bible thumping pig to a minor celebrity status.
