11. I don't know what's more depressing:

1) The fact that A&E has reinvented itself as the Idiot Channel, moving away from its previous life of importing British and Australian dramas and co-producing programs like "Horatio Hornblower" with the BBC

2) The fact that millions of Americans apparently think of the image of the Robertsons portrayed on the program as "their kind of people"

3) The fact that the Robertsons are, as the title of this thread says, "yuppies in redneck drag."
