There are multiple threads on this, and even some duplicates. Wow...must feel real good for people to get all that hatred out of their systems.

And I don't "get my undies in a twist when fundie homophobe racist bigots get called out". I get my undies in a twist when I see hypocritical double standards from people who call themselves "liberals" but fail to act like it.

Phil Robertson, by his own admission, is an alcoholic who was "saved" from drinking by religion.

In case you didn't know this, alcoholics often end up trading one addiction for another. Often, sadly, that other addiction is religion. Because their minds are so fucked up, they are prime targets for the worst bullshit religion has to throw at them.

Why should anyone give two shits, other than feeling pity, for an old alcoholic guy whose mind is likely more shriveled than a stewed prune, because he says a lot of stupid hateful stuff?
