I know there is an old cliche about Democrats needing to falling love while Republicans fall in line (apropos to Valentines Day). As such, maybe there should be a regular citizens conference or event timed to the election cycle where Democratic or left leaning organizations develop and agree to an overall plan or strategy for targeting their collective love and scarce resources. The Republicans do this to some degree with CPAC (https://cpac.conservative.org/) and their are likely some similarities on the left (South-By-Southwest). It just seems all the more important these days since we have one party completely un-moored from democracy.

Anyhow, happy Valentines Day from the land of frozen water (northern Minnesota)! Full disclosure, I once helped organize one of the biggest environmental conferences on the Great Lakes (International Joint Commission's Biennial Meeting on Great Lakes Water Quality).
