seems to be some anti grit sentiment attached to the deserved contempt for rmoney
i would like to come to the defence of the humble grit
a grit is just some hot cereal meal in this case hominy corn
no different than oatmeal or farina or cream of wheat or cous-cous
they are what you want them to be not so much a flavor themselves but a vehicle for flavors
add anything to grits and thats what you have
cinnamon and brown sugar or cheese or even drop an egg in them
grits can work at any meal from nice buttery grits for breakfast to some delicious shrimp and grits for supper
so come on folks give grits a break they did not ask romney to come around and talk about them
