The Obamas campaigned with Sasha and Malia in-tow, but have made clear (in particular -- Michelle has made clear) that the press is to keep their distance -- which for the most part, they have done. Chelsea Clinton is a target now because she is a grown woman in the public spotlight. As a child in the White House, she stayed largely out of the public eye. Ditto the Bush girls until they chose to become public figures. Untiil this child is of age to become a public figure, comments should pretty much be limited to "isn't he adoreable."
