9. I'm from the US and I know what a onesie is

In fact I remember hearing the term onesie used on the tv show Gilmore Girls so it can't be that uncommon. Wikipedia notes that Gerber has the term trademarked and has pursued legal remedies against companies that have attempted to use the term.
