.... and sate they were doing 25 over the speed limit and the guy doing 10-15 over passing cars on the right wouldn't move out of their way..

See how that works out for them.

You need to look up what the "law" says is faster and slower traffic. This isn't Germany. Cars can legally travel on the interstate at, IIRC, 40 or 45 (maybe more now the speeds increased). If some asshole doing 85 is running around flashing his lights and tailgating HE is the one who will get the citation.

Cops are going after so called "aggressive" drivers with a focus on using unmarked or minimally marked cars.

I witnessed a beautiful peace of poetic justice over Thanksgiving. I was in a group/pack of cars that was traveling behind a state trooper - these days you can't tell they are trooper cars until you are right on them. I almost got pinched passing the group but I, and every one else, slowed up as to not pass him. This included cars in the left lane as the right lane was packed. The pack got big enough, apparently, that some jackass didn't know there was a copper acting a space car. He was back there swerving and flashing his lights. We all went over an overpass and jackass used the entrance ramp to pass everyone. On went the cherries. Busted

Cops ARE around sometimes when you need them. LOL
