45. i googled "how much was a lid of pot"

and came upon a couple interesting websites with detailed breakdowns
basically it's what i'm thinking of/remembering--and it was sold for $15 in the early/mid 70s.

and now it's $400??? in the stores in colorado? wow--
back then i never would have imagined that pot & same sex marriage wouldn't be legal & accepted & no big freaking deal across this country by now.

i thought we would've come "a long way, baby" a long time ago.
and we haven't. we haven't gone far at all unfortunately.

(now...who can i blame?)
