141. The thing is that you don't seem concerned enough to me.

This is something you need to deal with right away. I don't think you got any rabies shot at the hospital, based on what you've said here. And you will need a series of shots. They must be started soon after the bite. Call your animal control department and tell them that you've been bitten by a raccoon. Call your doctor. Call someone. You need to get this underway.

My frustration is that you seem to be about to ignore this, and that could be a fatal mistake. I don't doubt your story, but if I were in your shoes, I'd be making absolutely certain I was getting the rabies shots, and I wouldn't waste any time about it, either.

You say you live in a rural area. Call your state department of environmental health if you don't get taken seriously locally. Escalate this now.

That is my advice to you, and I do know what I'm talking about, too.
