(1,925 posts)I'd keep a written record of your medication & when you were bitten, & when you received the injection at the hospital.
You never know, but that way you are prepared for any questions the new clinic might reasonably ask for.
(I'd actually write the time when you take the antibiotic.. it's easy to forget when you took your last dose, as the days move forward.. )
You might even call the Center around the corner just to insure that they know to have the correct injections on hand for you.. in case Hospital No 1 is slow in giving the info to your new clinic. (I know that sounds bizarre, but it's risk protection really..for yourself..) or confirm things with your physician..
Whatever you think is right.. I just know from working in a Pharmacy that sometimes there is trouble with faxes etc.. maybe just that the line is busy at the time ..
