(7,720 posts)you will read that Aerows is going to be ok. I think a lot of people reading this thread will learn a lot about situations such as this one. What I learned was don't just let the ER staff blow you off. You have to follow up and that's what happened. MineralMan was a great help as was the County Public Health staff. I hope I never have to go throigh something like this. I was once bitten by a stray dog (we thought it was a stray) when I was a kid. It turned out to be owned by some new people to the neighborhood. It was up-to-date with its shots, but the new neighbors were not too cooperative. My dad ended up telling them if they did not keep it tied up and if it showed up in our yard again he was going to shoot it. I think they ended up getting rid of the dog because I was not tbe first to be bitten.
