(3,891 posts)But I find it interesting that you are operating under the assumption that the neighbor is guilty because the police are after him. Despite seeing no evidence of dealing, or other major crimes you are still reacting like many people who believe that the police are there to help. In all honesty, I usually react the other way after seeing the police persecute too many innocents.
My rules are simple. If they want him, let them find him. I don't know shit. When I see the police making an arrest, I don't assume that the guy is guilty and the cops just saved someone. I assume that the guy is at most accused, but usually innocent, and the cops are fucking with him because he flipped them the bird, or he just happened to be near a crime that happened, and thus guilty by their convoluted logic.
Hell, knowing the way that the cops over-react to anything, your neighbor probably hasn't paid his student loans.
