It is, for the first few days there were 3 roads closed...Snowhill, Ooltewah-Georgetown and Mayhan Gap - the only way out of my subdivision was straight across Snowhill to get to Hwy. 58, and the area around Island Cove Marina was slowed down by gawkers taking pictures.
I was on Snowhill Rd. earlier today and I still get that strange, in another world, stomach churning feeling that I and my 2 boys who were here had that day...it was scary here, but when the funnel passed over the house, we knew that hell had broken loose somewhere else, we just didn't know where at the time. We've had minor tremors here, a couple of years ago one cracked the sheet rock in Mom's house....
If that stupid fucker Pat Robertson would just tell us where to move, we'd consider it.
