So I'm pretty sure I was just ripped off by the healthcare exchange and BC/BS... [View all]

I feel like I should be worried. I signed up for a specific plan over the phone.

This plan to be exact:

Which has this plan summary on the exchange website:

And after I opened the Blue Cross/Blue Shield pdf summary for the plan, I realized that none of the figures stated on the exchange website match. The name of the plan matches but nothing else.

https://www.azblue.com/~/media/AZBlue/Files/SBCs/IU65/EverydayHealthSelect4000.pdf

Annual deductible: $4,000
Maximum out-of-pocket: $6350

Copays-

Primary care - $30
Specialist - $60

Prescription tiers -

1: $15
2: $50
3: $100

It's important to note that NONE of the information provided in the BC/BS brochure matches the information on the exchange website. None of it. The plan I was shown on the website and sold on the phone has essentially nothing to do with the BC/BS plan in the pdf.

Has anyone else run into this?

On the pdf, take a Sharpie pen and black out anything that says "family". I think what's left will NYC_SKP Jan 2014 #14
