17. What still bothers me is how unhinged some of them are.

Not for my sake...they gave up on me long ago because I wouldn't do what Steve is doing; I wouldn't spar with them. They love the validation they get when one of us talks about them. I admit, I'm going there now, but they'll have to decide -- do we acknowledge him again? Or ignore him? But if we ignore him, then we acknowledge that we ignored him! DOH! What to do!

"OS" is directly sparring with them, which you've done a few times, too. He'd be way better off just pretending they're not there. That drives them nuts, and makes Frank imagine more stories about us, which he posts as well-researched facts for the other 11 people to go gaga over. It's the only thing that gives them any entertainment, and gives Frankie a reason to drive to town to log onto the computer at the town library. Then he heads back to the rented one-room farmhouse and talks to the walls. Which, ironically, can't hear him any more than he can hear them talking to him in third person.

I'm amazed that anyone finds value in paying for the monthly TypePad bill to keep that shit hole running. At least, with the amount of traffic they get, it can't be costing Frank more than a basic GoDaddy hosting account. Hell, he can raise that each month by selling a couple of his chickens and putting in ten minutes at the Mobil station glory hole.
