Anyone who thinks we'll go back to the level prior to the 80's is foolish. The manufacturing jobs are always going to move to the cheapest places. Right now that is China and India. While some may move back, it will never be to the previous levels.

It is the high tech and innovative jobs that we need. They'll pay better anyway.
