It's like it doesn't even happen up around here.
That ain't right.
I remember people at work asking if we would ever get the holiday off so we could particpate in day of service events and they said "that's what you get vacation days for."
I am now feeling guilty that I didn't plan to take the day off to observe.
Fuck.
I feel awful now.
