Dem New Jersey Mayor: If Christie Ran For President I'd Support Him
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) seems to have the backing of at least one Democratic mayor in his state if he decided to run for president.
In an interview with CNN on Tuesday Union City Mayor Brian P. Stack (D) said he'd likely support Christie if he ran for president in 2016. CNN's Jake Tapper asked Stack if Christie runs for president "will you support him?"
"Id be inclined to support the governor, I think it would be a great for New Jersey and I think hed be a great president," Stack said. "But I think right now, his job has got to be focus on New Jersey. I dont think the presidency should even come up right now. I think it should be focused on New Jersey, focused on what we need to put more jobs out there and do what he talked about today."
Tapper then asked if Christie could recover from the allegations surrounding him related to the George Washington Bridge scandal.

This fuck is already announcing support for a corrupt Republican mired in scandal.

Records show, meanwhile, that the Port Authority has been used before to help those seen as friendly to the governor. Last year, for example, the Port Authority gave Union City $2.9 million for roadway improvements for upgrades to approach roadways to the Lincoln Tunnel. It was the first time the city received such aid, officials said.
After Christie lobbied for the assistance, Democratic Mayor Brian Stack subsequently threw his support to the governor.
In Jersey City, though, Mayor Steve Fulop said a meeting with Bill Baroni, the former deputy executive director of the Port Authority, was canceled along with a series of meetings with other administration officials after the Democratic mayor
refused to endorse the governor.
Baroni, who has been tied to the controversial George Washington Bridge shutdown, resigned last month.

A state senator who represents the 33rd Legislative District, which includes Hoboken, Union City, Weehawken and parts of Jersey City, Stack said he doesnt believe that any benefits Union City receives from the state last year, it won a $2.9 million grant from the Port Authority, which the New York Times noted this week does not operate in Union City has anything to do with his support of the governor.
The money was needed to rehabilitate a portion of New York Avenue. Though the roadway is not known as an access road to and from the Lincoln Tunnel, Stack says it is, and defends the city receiving the cash.

It is highly probable that Zimmers story is true. For one thing she will go to prison if she lied
