64. Never met him, but loved his silly pictures.

I make the clerks laugh in the store. Hubby and I practically have a stand up routine. We live in the country and when we have to drive to a larger town to buy stuff, the clerks love to see us.

I tell the checkers at wallyworld, "Don't work too hard. Get your rest." and they laugh and appreciate the sympathetic noises.

Before the holier-than-thou crowd gets on my case, I live 150 miles from the nearest Whole Foods so it's not like I can bop there for groceries.
I don't have choices in where to shop. So goes most of rural America.

No local butcher shops, no local bakeries, no farmers' market that I can find within 25 miles. Yeah, I can find a meat shop that sells jerky and deer meat. I am not interested in those.
