On their side.

Not a single one of them.

McCain may have been a war mongering, old do nothing, but I saw him confront some of that bigotry when it was all up in his face. I'll give him credit for that.

Four years later, it's a new day for racism in America.

This current crop: They're quite the opposite. Either they're stoking the flames of bigotry outright, like Gingrich and Santorum (and even a bit of Romney lately).

Or like Romney and Paul, are cowards when faced with it.

With Citizens United, some very ugly adds will come out and the candidates with wash their hands of them.

With social media, any racist bastard with a computer can spread as much ugliness as they can muster.

We're going to see the country dragged through a lot of gutters before election day. I think that it's going to be the ugliest that we've ever seen this country turn in a long time.

All I can say is, prepare to be shocked.
