But that is still a ding.

Add to that my having been shopping for mortgages for a refi and for an additional investment property.

Still, average of the three services never drops below 800.

Never carry a balance on a card, and I only have one card and one debit card.

It's not hard to have good credit. Or, rather, it's not hard to avoid having bad credit.
