7. I find this strange, most of the publicly owned museums and parks around me have free admission...

with only special sections or special shows having a fee attached to be admitted.

St. Louis Zoo, free admission.

Missouri History Museum, free admission

St. Louis Art Museum, free admission

Even our Municipal theater(The Muny) has free seats.

I think there are others that are also free, they are slipping my mind at the moment. Yeah, we pay about 5-6 cents more in property taxes for it, but because of that, even the poorest members of our society can get in these places and have free entertainment and education.
