Right-wing pundit Dinesh D’Souza, who was forced to quit as president of a Manhattan evangelical Christian college in 2012 due to an extramarital affair, has been charged with making illegal contributions to a U.S. Senate candidate in New York, the feds said Thursday....

D’Souza, 52, allegedly contributed $20,000 through straw donors to Republican Wendy Long’s 2012 campaign. Long lost to incumbent Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand.
