I'm glad he said it, though.

He'll go down in history as one of the World's Intolerant Dickheads, a "last gasper" of an Age of Intolerance. Everything he has done to this point will be subsumed by this DUMBASS remark. Everything he's built his life and reputation on is swept away. All that stands for his lifetime of effort is this "I am a bigoted idiot" comment.
