110. Of course its a problem. Its a problem in most countries. But its a minority of thought here.

Its you and others who are blaming this crime on racism and choose to focus on it instead of the crime. Doesnt that guy look perfectly capable of shooting ANYBODY? There's NO mention of race anywhere in the report or his statements. In most race crimes, there is. And also the notion that anyone who speaks out against the President must be a racist, because theres no other reason to be against him. Its ridiculous. A lot of people here on DU have problems with several of the Presidents policies. Its not because he's black. A LOT here do NOT want Hillary to win in '16. Does that make them misogynists? No. Every time theres a klan march or some other idiot group, the number of people who show up to speak out against them outnumber the racists by 100s to 1. Even 1000s.
If racism is so prevalent, then it works both ways. All the black-on-white crime MUST be because of racism, right? I posted the stats earlier to someone who thinks its open season on blacks. Has it been open season on whites? The figures show blacks victimize whites by a more than 2-1 margin. If you account for the racial makeup of the population its more like 5-1. That doesnt mean all blacks criminals are racist, does it?
I'm just tired of the race of the perpetrator being used as the focus of these stories only when its white instead of the crime itself. The Maryland shooter last week was black. It was never an issue here when it was posted. Because the shooting was the issue, as it should have been.
