20. Friend was flying out of Atlanta at 1:00 p.m. and snow came in early

so the flight was delayed over an hour. They were lucky to take the Metro rather than drive or take cab because apparently the snow started so early that the roads were a mess
given folks don't know how to drive in it so there were many accidents.

Apparently they had made it to the airport just in time but as they walked in got the delayed flight alert on cell phone. They encountered a mob with a woman who was shouting "Praise Jesus...and Come Home to the Lord" and reading sentences from the Bible.

My friend said she was glad the woman was in from the cold & snow because you could tell she was mentally disturbed--and said she worried more about those under the bridge overpasses in ally ways with no shelter and than minor disturbance of the poor woman who at least had found a way to have some shelter and she didn't seem to be bothering anyone with her preaching. My friend is very good-hearted as well she should be..

I'm in NC...and we are supposed to get the snow later tonight. I'd rather have that than an ice storm any day. The last one we had took down tree limbs and we were without power and heat for a day and a half and driving was treacherous for days after. But, that was better than what those folks in the rural areas had to go through.
