35. No Flakes in NC...But friend who was booked on 1:00 Flight out

for a 48 Minute inflight time back to NC called and she'd been sitting on plane for 2 and 1/2 hours and didn't know when she'd get back to NC...because of the delay to get on the plane for two hours and sitting on the runway for over 2 hours. She hopes maybe by 8:00 p.m...but, then her cell phone died.

She will arrive probably when we are in the midst of the storm. I told her to get a hotel room at airport and charge it to her company! She deserves it for what she's been through.

They did break flight rules and offer her pretzels and a free drink....(since she hadn't eaten since noon today...) It was kind of them to do that. Luckily she had a granola bar tucked away.
