(134,035 posts)24. when we were trying to stop goodwill from selling to kum-n-go in our neighborhood, I learned
that some of the developmentally disabled at goodwill made as little as TWENTY TWO CENTS an hour. the ceo claimed that this was acceptable, based on the rate of work they did. from that moment on, I have not stepped into a goodwill store, nor will I ever donate to them either.
